About Me
Dirty Paws Dog Adventures was founded by me in 2019 with a mission to provide enriching, structured experiences for dogs and their owners. With over seven years of experience working in doggy daycare and training facilities, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments.
Thanks to the amazing support of our community, we expanded beyond dog walking to offer a wider range of programs, including structured outings, Take & Train sessions, and real-world skill-building opportunities through Dirty Paws Dog Training.
Over the past few years, I’ve deepened my expertise in dog training by working for a local training company and building a strong professional relationship with the founder of Pawcademy Dogs. Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Ontario for a two-week trainer immersion program at Grassroots K9, further enhancing my skills and knowledge in balanced training methods.
I’m passionate about helping dogs and their owners build strong, lasting relationships through structure, communication, and compassion. I love creating programs that make everyday life calmer, safer, and more enjoyable for both dogs and their humans.
Customized Programs
At Dirty Paws Dog Training, we believe training should be tailored—not templated. Every dog and owner team is different, which is why we create customized training plans designed around your goals, your lifestyle, and your dog’s individual needs.
We work with you to set realistic expectations and provide clear, practical tools that support long-term success—not quick fixes.
Lasting results come from training beyond the living room. Sessions take place in a mix of home and real-life environments—such as neighbourhoods, parks, trails, and busier public spaces—to help dogs build reliable skills where they actually matter.
Training in diverse environments allows us to reinforce behaviors, assess progress honestly, and prepare dogs for real-world distractions.
Training for All Breeds, Ages,
and Experience Levels
We work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and backgrounds. Whether you’re raising a puppy, reinforcing foundations with an adolescent dog, or supporting an adult dog with behavioral challenges, our programs are adjusted to meet your dog where they’re at.
From basic obedience and leash manners to confidence building and behavior support, Dirty Paws Dog Training provides structured, individualized training designed to create calm, capable dogs and confident owners.
Training Philosophy
At Dirty Paws Dog Training, our philosophy is centered on balanced training and guided by the individual dog in front of us. We believe effective training begins with understanding—recognizing that every dog brings their own temperament, genetics, learning history, and life experiences. Because of this, training is never one-size-fits-all.
We focus on how dogs think, learn, and respond to their environment, allowing us to adapt our approach to meet each dog’s unique needs. By working with natural instincts and clear communication, we create fair, consistent structure that builds confidence, reliability, and long-term success.
Integrity, education, and partnership are central to our work. We are committed to supporting owners through the training process, providing the tools, clarity, and guidance needed to maintain progress beyond our sessions. Our goal is not just behavioral change, but stronger, lasting relationships between dogs and their people.
